LAHORE At three persons fell from the 13-storey LDA plaza situated on Lahore’s Edgerton road on Thursday trying to avoid a fire that engulfed the building, DawnNews reported.

The building caught fire on Thursday and quickly intensified spreading to three floors of the tall building.Many other people were stranded on the building who tried to escape using makeshift arrangements.Three persons fell from the seventh floor while trying to escape the blaze.The injured persons who had fallen was taken to Nishtar hospital where one of the wounded succumbed to his wounds.Emergency and firefighting teams had reached the site and were trying to bring the fire under control.Rescue teams were using helicopters to airlift the stranded occupants out of the burning building.
